These terms and conditions regulate the business relationship between you and The Class 37 Locomotive Group. If you use our website in any way, or by buying from us, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

We aim to offer a fair and honest policy with all including associates, our customers, and suppliers. In return we expect you to treat our volunteers with respect and without abuse.

We are an authorised reseller of Bachmann Europe Ltd products. For warranty terms and conditions please refer to https://www.bachmann.co.uk/page/warranty. Warranty claims will only be entertained if you present the original receipt that we issued to you to Bachmann Europe. We will help but are under no obligation to provide replacement invoices. Please look after your receipts at least for the warranty period which is 12 months.

For all other products we will replace or refund faulty goods at our discretion for a period not exceeding 3 months.

We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us without offering any explanation. We will of course notify you.

We aim to minimise administration errors within the group but cannot held be responsible for any material or consequential loss because of incorrect information provided by you or a third party.

We may use our sole discretion, limit, or cancel quantities of items purchased per person, per household or per order or on the same credit card or to the same address. If we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or phone number/s provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or cancel orders that, in our judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, retailers, resellers or distributors. We are a charity after all and rely on good will with all parties and do not nor expect to be treated unfairly.

You must agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our stores (Website, Ebay Shop, Model shows. Gala stands and any on train sales etc). You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your street address, email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed. If for any reason you choose to provide a temporary address for what ever reason for a transaction, we cannot be held responsible consequential for loss or additional services.

We will always provide you a receipt for goods dispatched by post or courier. At Galas, Model shows or on train sales if you pay by card and if you give us your email address, we will mail a receipt and If you require a receipt for cash sales at Galas etc again provide an email address and we will mail you a receipt in a day or so of the transaction.

For packages over £50 we will always send via an insured tracked service. For packages over £275 we will send by an enhanced tracked service. For any service we expect your help and support by you visiting / collecting items from local delivery offices if a parcel is returned to the depot. We expect you to assist and provide information for any enquiry to help recover lost packages and to help substantiate any claim we may make on the delivery organisation.

You should unpack, inspect and test any rolling stock on receipt or as soon as practically possible and inform us of any damage or shortfall to help us organise a repair or a replacement or last resort of a refund. Please ensure completeness of the model, buffers, hooks, accessory packs, name plates and instructions. Prior to returning goods you should contact us and provide details of the problems with photographs if necessary and we will work with you to provide a solution. You are responsible for ensuring all returns are packed and dispatched using and appropriately protected service. This need not be a Priority or 1st Class protected service. 2nd Class protected service is adequate.
