The class 37s - part 1, run-time approx 80 mins.
The Class 37s continue to be one of the most popular locomotive types in service today. In this programme, we take a look back at everyday operations in the 1980s and early 1990s: using early video material we bring back to life BR-blue and Trainload Freight-liveried examples on a mixture of passenger and freight from across the country. There's plenty of loud, spectacular & rare action included!!
