Mossend - close up action shots of class 86s on freightliner duties, class 81, 85 and 90 in and around the yard complex;

Leighton Buzzard - evening shots taken in 1988 during the rush-hour as trains of Mk1 coaches call to set down passengers, class 310 EMUs on local services, an 86 on the Royal train, 85s on parcels and freight as well as class 86s on Intercity Expresses;

Warrington/Winwick Jn - Freight and passenger traffic dominate with many BR-blue liveried locomotives seen in action;
