Classes 37 & 47 are a dominant feature on this DVD but plenty of other classes are also evident.

Trains are shown at 15 different locations from Glasgow and Edinburgh to the far North mostly between 3rd and 16th of August 1988 although some of the film is undated and possible from 1989 or 1990.

Other loco classes include 08, 20, 26, 43, 85 & 86. DMU's of classes 101, 104, 107, 120 and 150 EMU classes 303, 311, 314 & 318.
