Whilst basic DIY skills and common sense are a distinct advantage, no specialist engineering experience is necessary as training will be given where required. The repair, overhaul and maintenance of our locomotives involves engineering, mechanical, electrical, joinery, metalwork, welding, painting so there will always be the opportunity to learn new skills.
